Connor (19), Josh (21) Matt (25), Thompson (22) and Jay (19), all live, work and play in one of the most vibrant parts of the city, so they’re not fazed by the fact that they might be breaking the boy-band mould. There’s a genuine bond between these 5 lads, each with their own taste in music, fashion and women, ensuring there’s never a dull moment in the Kingsland house.
Formed in November 2012 by college mates Connor and Josh, Kingsland have racked up 100k YouTube views and 11k followers on Twitter. They’ve just come back from supporting FutureProof on their 02 Academy tour of the UK and picked up the @LatestPop award for Best New Artist 2013.
Their mix of 5 piece harmony, ska-infused summer-pop, infectious banter and unashamed individualism make Kingsland the lads everybody wants at the party. Kingsland will appeal to the Good-Time-Girls, and The Misunderstood... and do you know what? Lads won’t be afraid to admit that they like Kingsland too.
