- The Railway Venue is a 200 capacity venue in the rural area of Bromley Cross, Bolton. There is a fantastic in-house 'EV' PA system, a light show to die for and an in-house sound technician beyond compare. We do not show sports of any kind and caps, sportswear, shorts, etc are not allowed. This is an over 25s venue, although we do allow under 25s in if accompanied by a suitable guardian. Open 7 days a week (Mon - Fri: 5pm open. Sat & Sun: 6pm open). We also show music videos of most genres on 5 Big Screens every night of the week. Some of the bands that have played here, include: Uli Jon Roth, Dan Reed, Maddy Prior, Oliver-Dawson Saxon, X-UFO, Bernie Torme, Kobra & the Lotus, Die So Fluid, Jordan Reyne, The Shee, Donnie Vie Band, The Reasoning, Tracer, Marseille, Ten & Gypsy Pistoleros, along with some of the best tribute acts the world has to offer.
