Formed in Birmingham in 1970 by Roy Wood and Jeff Lynne the British Rock group The Electric Light Orchestra epitomised the 70s with their unique symphonic rock style and unforgettable classics. Pop masterpieces such as Mr Blue Sky, Livin’ Thing, Turn to Stone, Sweet Talking Woman, Shine A Little Love, Hold On Tight,Confusion, Evil Woman, Telephone Line, Don’t Bring Me Down…to name just a few.
This group of talented musicians have performed on many TV spectaculars including Top of the Pops and have toured extensively around the globe in productions that have seen them perform to sell out audiences in NEW YORK, NASHVILLE, SOUTH AFRICA, HONG KONG, JAPAN, SINGAPORE, THAILAND, DUBAI, EGYPT, MOROCCO, FRANCE, SPAIN, PORTUGAL, MALTA, SWITZERLAND, GERMANY, SCANDANAVIA, LATVIA and RUSSIA.
Having performed over 1200 shows to date including theatre venues in the U.K. plus TV and radio appearances, corporate events, universities, cruises and many private performances.
