Hwyl
Green Man festival presents Hwyl Festival.
Saturday 28th February 2015
2pm to midnight
Cecil Sharp House, Camden, London, NW1 7AY
After last year’s amazing sell-out ‘Hwyl’ St David's Day (Dewi Sant) Celebration, Green Man can’t wait to return with a jam packed day filled with amazing Welsh music, magic and friendly mayhem.
Hwyl will be celebrating St David’s day with a party full of music, literature, and culinary delights, with sets from Teleman, Sweet Baboo, Stanley Brinks, Georgia Ruth, and Cowbois Rhos Botwnnog, alongside a traditional Welsh Twmpath.
Leading Welsh poets Owen Sheers, Patience Agbabi and Haf Davies will weave magic out of words and talented Welsh Comedians Elis James and Mike Bubbins will be generating giggles and glee.
We also have the Dylan Thomas Book Bus, Welsh Craft Workshops and performances from Tangerino Circus, plus a Pub Quiz, Board Games, Live Rugby, Twmpath (a Wild Welsh ceilidh), a Welsh Beer and Cider Festival and traditional tasty Welsh Grub.
Tickets are selling fast for our unique St David’s Day (Dewi Sant) celebration with a festival twist right in the heart of London, so make sure you get yours.
