The Bloomsbury Theatre! Glastonbury! And now...Widnes! After one helluva 6 year run playing UK festivals and theatres and receiving unanimously rave reviews, this could well be the last chance to see this highly acclaimed stage production of Vivian Stanshall's bizarre masterpiece, which originally was aired live on the John Peel Show by VIVAN STANSHALL himself.
MICHAEL LIVESLEY is magnificent as the hilarious and heroically gin-soaked Sir Henry, telling the meandering tale of a crumbling English stately home - and taking on the roles of the grotesques who inhabit it.
The MUSIC of course is a big part of the experience and is wondrously delivered by Brainwashing House, a suitably strange and cobwebbed band of brilliantly eccentric musicians.
Fans of this marvelous show include Stephen Fry, Ade Edmunson, Rick Wakeman, Danny Baker, and one of Viv's Bonzos bandmates Neil Inness (Monty Python, The Rutles, etc) to name-drop but a few.
They have also on ccasion joined the show onstage!
