Set in a park overlooking the River Thames, and only a few minutes’ walk from Reading Station, the 25th Reading Beer & Cider Festival is one of the biggest CAMRA volunteer-led beer festivals in the south of England, offering an awesome range of 450+ cask-conditioned ales, 55+ key keg craft ales, 140+ ciders and perries, and a plethora of foreign bottled beers, English wines and mead over four days including Bank Holiday Friday. And there's more on offer! There's a tempting variety of hot and cold street foods, and other vendors offering an exciting range of goodies - from bar snacks such as olives or cheese, to hog roast, curry and hot veggie food. There are even hat, t-shirt and drinking horn vendors. Ever played Toad in the Hole or real pub skittles? Our friendly games team will show you how! Test your pub quiz skills on the Thursday evening, or enjoy an impressive line-up of live music during the Friday or Saturday sessions. And don't forget the family day on Sunday, bring the little ones down to the sunny (hopefully) beer garden, with a dedicated baby changing & feeding tent, face painting, balloon hats, and other attractions.
