A Brand New Comedy Night coming to New Brighton
GetComedy who have been one of the major comedy bookers in the UK for the past twenty years is teaming up with Rockpoint Leisure to bring you three amazing nights of comedy in the ‘Anti-Super’ Supermarket in the Victoria Quarter of New Brighton on the Wirral expertly called The Joke Shop over the next three months

Adam Rowe headlines the first in this series off the back of his outrageous Live at the Apollo appearance. One of the North Wests breakout talents in the past few years and the scouser is widely regarded as one of the most exciting, young comics in the world and you may have seen on Roast Battle, The Tez O’Clock Show, The Stand-Up Sketch Show or more likely as the host of Have a Word Podcast with our December headliner Dan Nightingale.
International Headliner and diminutive guitar-wielding satirist from Liverpool Steve Gribbin headlines the November show. Expect comedy songs and off the wall observations that have made him one of the firm favourites of the world comedy circuit.
Dan Nightingale headlines our December offering and he's widely regarded as one of the best performers working on the comedy circuit today. He headlines all the major comedy clubs in the UK, and at the North West Comedy Awards, he won Best Act 2018 and 2019 and Best MC 2019. he has also performed regular TV warm up for the likes of Jonathan Ross, John Bishop and Celebrity Juice. He has also appeared on John Bishop’s Only Joking (Sky TV) and supported Ross Noble on his UK tour. Not forgetting the co-host of two immensely popular Podcasts ‘Have A Word’ which he hosts with our October headliner Adam Rowe and ’Show Me The Sample’ with renown DJ Felix Leiter
