Manchester The Ruby Lounge

Lots of bands. And DJs. Truckloads of DJs.

Across it's three and a half years the venue has seen countless live acts and DJs take charge of the stage (Oh, way more than can be listed here of course). The venue continues to host a steady flow of thrilling new bands, the occasional household name and everything in between, indeed, the Ruby Lounge has cemented itself as a crucial cornerstone for Mancunian live music.

But what of the venue itself? Well, the Ruby Lounge is a bespoke 375 capacity venue (which opens out into a 600 capacity club space) bang in the heart of Manchester - this is a venue that the city has always deserved. A place scrupulously set up for bands and DJs of all descriptions, all delivered within the kind of joint that doesnt expect punters to live with the lowest common denominator - quite the opposite.

The Ruby Lounge is flash without being showy. Lived in without being beat up. Rock'n'Roll without being cliched. Timeless but not tired. The Ruby Lounge nods from the 21st century back to all those perfect 1950's Lounges and to a time where live venues gave a damn about the people enjoying them. It's a perfect hang out with a loud-as-hell PA, this is a venue with all the trimmings.

The Ruby Lounge also opens real late with a selection of superb club nights stretching into the evening plus we've one hell of a great bar that won't break the bank.
