Jill and Kate are a country pop duo from Nashville, TN with lyrics inspired by real life, seasoned with the simplicity of youthful energy and a timelessness that is rarely seen in today's pop music.

Jill Pickering and Kate Rapier met at the Contemporary Music Centre on Martha's Vineyard, an invitation-only artists' colony that offers masters classes in songwriting, recording, and performing. It was during their residency, they formed "Jill and Kate". They spent six years touring the world with Kelly Clarkson as her backing vocalists before leaving to concentrate on their own career.
